The MBS benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, and retiree benefits programs. We can accommodate any size client, including one or more employees, since we aggregate all our clients together as though we were one large employer group. Employers have the flexibility to choose from the standard plan designs or a custom plan for those with more than 25 eligible employees.

One Stop Shop Portal

Our proprietary ‘One Stop Shop’ Portal delivers streamlined administrative services to include eligibility and enrollment management, life event changes, client management support, single consolidated invoicing, client resources, employer/employee communications, customized Open Enrollment materials, and employer/employee online annual Open Enrollment.

Compliance Guidance and Support

MBS provides guidance and support for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Section 125 Plan documents, required notices, and reporting requirements for Applicable Large Employers (ALE) including a detailed ALE Determination tool to our clients at no cost. We provide timely updates on important legislation affecting municipalities.

Wellness

MBS offers a passively managed wellness program, including customized communications, biometric screenings, access to our current carrier/vendor tools and resources, and assistance from our team to create internal wellness competitions for your municipality. The goal of our wellness program is to make it easy for our clients to encourage their eligible employees to get routine preventive services as required, utilize the available carrier resources, and create a healthier lifestyle.

Value-Added Program Administration

Our MBS team provides value-added program administration for spending account administration (health savings accounts, health reimbursement accounts, and flexible spending accounts), COBRA administration, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), health advocacy and coaching, and plan design consulting.
