Benefits Administration Platform
Full-service automated platform that supports both paper and electronic eligibility and enrollment management. The platform offers annual enrollment packets, life event changes, confirmation statements, carrier interfacing, and more!
Plan Design Modeling and Consulting
Assistance in areas such as strategic planning, plan design and cost modeling, employee contribution strategies, and union negotiations.
Customized Benchmarking Analysis
We can provide Trust-level, regional, and national plan design and cost benchmarking analytics relative to your specific programs.
Consolidated Invoicing
All clients receive a single invoice reflecting every MBS benefit plan offered eliminating processing multiple invoices from multiple carriers/vendors.
COBRA Administration
Complete Federal COBRA administration services including initial notices, election packets, and premium billing and collection.
Compliance Guidance
Full Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance support including assistance with generating and submitting all government reporting requirements (IRS Form 1094/1095), Section 125 plan documents, required notices, and other legally required documents.
Spending Account Administration
Full-service Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) Account, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) administration.
Rate Mitigation Account (RMA)
Unlike insurance companies who use access reserves as a profit, MBS credits excess reserve back to our participating members’ Rate Mitigation Accounts. These funds can be used by groups for any approved medical program expense (e.g., wellness programs), to offset premium costs, or can be rolled over for future use by a group.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is an optional program offered to our MBS employers to provide emotional, mental, and financial resources and tools for their employees to improve their overall well-being. The program is administered by HealthAdvocate.
Wellness Programs
MBS offers My Community Health wellness program, which includes monthly wellness newsletters and healthy recipes, online tools and resources provided through our vendor partners, health screenings (i.e., biometrics) at no additional cost through Quest, and guidance on customized wellness programs.
HealthAdvocate
Your enrolled members and their families will have access to their own dedicated Health Advocate to provide whole-person engagement through website, mobile app, or 24/7 support from expert staff. The team can help navigate questions any time through the year, such as claims issues, network questions, finding a provider, medical questions, setting up appointments, health engagement, and much more!
